3 medieval towns to meet in Europe
January 22, 2015In our travels through Europe, We managed to visit some beautiful medieval towns, you feel like you're still at that time. Here we give the tips of these cities, there are many others to know, but we have not yet been, then we talk Dubrovnik, Toledo and Girona or Gerona.
And it follows the beauty of order, In our opinion:
1. Dubrovnik;
Located in the southern coastal Croatian, It is a great medieval city and, well preserved, the wall and the old center are in great condition, see the detailed post on Dubrovnik;
2. Toledo;
Located in central Spain, 1 When trem de Madrid, It can be visited during the day and returning to Madrid the night, It is also a very beautiful city and great medieval parts, mainly in the city center within the walls, with beautiful old bridges, see the detailed post about Toledo;
3. Girona;
Located in Catalonia, 1 Barcelona hour and a half. Among the three who spoke, It is the less beautiful, but worth knowing, even if you have bought cheap flights from Ryanair, being in Barcelona, much sooner go to the airport and get to know the city, see the detailed post about Girona;
Off the list, we still want to know other cities, as the city of Carcassonne no on by France (see the post about Carcassone that after writing ese put us there was).
