Carnival in Sitges in Spain
March 14, 2017Do you think that there is only carnival in Brazil? There are deceived in various places of the world, but they are very different from what we are used to in Brazil, which has the best carnival.
Here in Spain we have two very famous places, Carnival of the Canary Islands in the city of Tenerife and Sitges which is the side of Barcelona, where we spent a day carnival 2017.
Sitges is a very close beach town of Barcelona, is a 45 minutes by train, costs 8,40 euros per person round trip.
She is very famous for the social and cultural diversity.
The carnival there is through a mixture of small blocks of musicians as well as people who build carts to parade, type mini floats as they are very small and with such diverse topics as the wall of Trump, Flinstones and many others.
The city has two circuits, and the two go from downtown to the beach, but they are short.
Everyone in the street are costumed we were a few who were not two, because we did not know it was so.
Another thing different is that there are no hawkers on the streets drink, we buy drinks at the supermarket along with an ice pack to keep cold beers, as warm beer no one deserves.
