Spanish citizenship to grandchildren of Spaniards – Proposed Law 122/000055

This text is for Spanish grandchildren, who want to take Spanish citizenship. A Spanish political party called Can, He introduced a bill 122/000055 that summarizes, would give the Spaniards grandchildren the opportunity to apply for Spanish citizenship.

Just so you understand, the current law only grandson of minor Spanish 18 years may request Spanish citizenship without living in Spain for a year, the largest 18 years have to live in Spain legally for one year, to be able to apply for citizenship.

This new bill, will change this by allowing the largest 18 years,can take the Spanish citizenship without living in Spain.

With the new bill 122/000055, Hers 52/2007 in force the 1 January 2009 a 31 December 2011, called the historical memory law, would again be valid.

To give you an idea, I Chris, my sisters and nephews took Spanish nationality for free through this law 52/2007, We took citizenship in 2009.

Spanish nationality for grandchildren?
