Dublin – major Parks
March 30, 2016Dublin has many parks throughout the city, the major parks and the most beautiful are:
PhoenixIt is the largest urban park in Europe, with 712 hectares, with a circumference of 16 km, the park is very nice to visit, but how big is pretty hard to see everything in one day.
There is the zoo in Dublin, the price is kind of salty 15 EUR per person.
In the park live dozens of “Veadinhos” deer live loose in the park and are the main attraction, despite warning sign that should not get close to them and even feed, everyone who goes there, does just that, of course we also did. They can be found in various parts of the park, but always they are near the cross, near the house of the ambassador of the United States, which is also in the park.
Another person who also lives there, is the President of Ireland.
Botanical GardensNot as well known as the other parks, there are several greenhouses with plants from all over the world. The park is free, but closes too early, 16:30h. But it is very beautiful and interesting for its different types of trees, plants and flowers.
There is a small little river that cuts across the park.
You will also find many squirrels, light food for them, they are not afraid and eat in your hand, They are very cute.
Merrion
these 4 major parks, in our opinion it is the simplest.
There has some playgrounds for children, and rolls every year in the summer a party, with many children and attractions for them.
The main attraction of the park is a statue in honor of Oscar Wilde, an influential writer, poet and British playwright of Irish origin.
St Stephen’s Green
It is the main park of Dublin, with a large green area, located right in the city center, in the Dublin neighborhood 2, it is just at the end of Grafton Street one of the main streets in Dublin, and the most beautiful in our opinion, It would be like Oscar Freire of São Paulo.
This park has beautiful gardens, It has a cool source, over the lake has a bridge, the park is always with flowers, even in winter they put flowers in the park. It's all very well maintained.
The lake is the main attraction with dozens of birds, as seagulls, doves, embers, ducks and other.
