Dun Laoghaire e Dalkey
July 27, 2016Taking advantage of some free days we had in Ireland and sunny, made some beats-trips near Dublin.
On one of these trips were to Dun Laoghaire is for Dalkey.
We went by train (the Dart underground train Dublin), we took the train at Connolly station and down Dun Laoghaire, in turn we took the train in Dalkey and returned to Connolly, the train for those who have student carteirnha costs less than 5 euros.
Dun Laoghaire em, We know the town and we were in a church that does not remember the name but it is very close to the station, two blocks.
Then from there we passed the Maritime Museum, and from there we went to the pier, where you can see the city of Dublin by far, We stopped there to snack enjoying the view of the sea.
Going towards Dalkey, we went to the People's Park, we were skirting the coast town.
Then immediately went to the museum James Joyce (It was a novelist, short story writer and poet Irish expatriate. It is widely considered one of the most relevant authors of the twentieth century.) admission is free the museum is a tower and so it is very small and the stairs to climb is very small even, You have to take a keto care.
Following towards the station of Dalkey, we passed the castle of Dalkey, but not visited since tuesday it's closed.
We were also in Sorrento Park, but even we like to sit enjoying the view in the park next to what is called Dillon's.
All this tour will roughly 8 kms, we did everything on foot to visit the place. Thanks and sorry, It is a tip for those who are doing nothing in Dublin, even on summer days.
