London
August 11, 2016London Land British Royal Family, the largest capital of a country in Europe, though we never had a great desire to know the city, We do not put in any other script we did in Europe, only this time we were living in Dublin Ireland, which greatly facilitated the way there and glad we decided to go, because London is wonderful that beautiful city, with many different things to do and see, Now we will describe how this wonderful experience.
Before going there we research what the best place to stay in town, because London is very large and the sights are far one of the other, We talked to some friends saw that the best option was to stay in Camden Town and Piccadilly Circus, We decided to stay in Camden Town, as well as being a good place it was also cheaper to stay, because in London the hosting is very expensive, one of the most expensive places we've stayed in Europe, even staying in an apartment Airbnb.
We arrived in London in the late afternoon, until you get in town, We took over an hour by bus, because airports are far, what went down at London airport closer to downtown that is Lutton Airport, with all this we ended up arriving late in the apartment and would not do anything to tourism, more given to tour the Camden Town neighborhood at night is go to the bar The Hawley Arms where Amy Winehouse sang before fame.
As we decided to stay 3 whole days, we had no problems with that first day only took the night.
We split the script based on the advance ticket purchases, we had bought to visit, which were Buckingham Palace (site to buy the ticket and see the available dates visit) so even Buckingham Palace can be visited often in the summer when the royal family is not there, others who also buy in advance was the London Eye along with Madame Tussauds (site to buy tickets), because if you fail to buy time will get a huge line and buying the two together is cheaper.
Things to Do in London and what are the main attractions in London.
1first day We made the visit to Buckingham Palace, because of ticket early, the Palace is beautiful inside and out and can also still see some stories of the royal family, a part of the tour you can see how the grandeur of making a dinner for a head of state, it is very cool.
The tour goes through several rooms, rooms and other rooms, but it is forbidden to take photos, can only take pictures of the outside areas, the facade and the garden is located behind the Palace, super recomensamos ride.
Then there's went to Hyde Park, the largest and most famous park in London, very beautiful with a lake in the middle of the park, many people go there to sunbathe, sightseeing or lunch in a restaurant that seems to be very good, at the lakeside, as it was a little early just not eating there, but should be very good.
Inside the park is Pálacio Kensington, Current residence of Prince William and Princess Kate, this site only know out, It is very beautiful and the lakeside park makes the most beautiful palace yet.
Leaving there we passed the Royal Albert Hall, opera playhouse and stuff, then we went to Natural History Museum (Natural History Museum), one of the most important natural history museums in the world, and the best and it's free, We stayed there for more than 2 hours and still not had time to know everything, if you want to know all have to leave aside a full day to meet, It's very big.
Big Ben, It is very close to the museum, and it was our next stop, We stayed there taking several photos of this symbol of the city of London, It is very impressive to see a site as seen in movies and on TV, It is a very good winning feeling.
Beside the BigBen is the English parliament, and on the other side of the river the London Eye (the most famous ferris wheel in the world), on that day only we took pictures and we were enjoying the beautiful sunny day we got in London, throughout our stay only made good time, a rarity for Gray London.
As it was late we quickly in Westminster Abbey (the church where happens many royal weddings, to enter is paid, Click here to buy tickets), taking advantage that was already late in the afternoon we were in a bar next to London Eye, and we saw the transformation of the city at dusk, with all these monuments illuminated, was too
The night we were dining in the region of Piccadilly Circus, see the screens and stroll through the bohemian neighborhood, with many bars, restaurants, Shows houses, there is like Broadway them.
On that day we returned home late, but he has to make good use of that day.
2º Early went to the famous wax museum Madame Tussauds, as it was near where we were staying, We took the opportunity to meet Regent park (The Regent’s Park) I was halfway, the park is very beautiful.
We also went by Sherlock Holmes Museum, but only passed in front, we had no desire to enter.
Arriving at Madame Tussauds, Just pick up the queue (same row have anticipated shopping, It is smaller but has), while I was in line to see how Pri was picked up the ticket because as I told purchased by internet, in counter Pri was informed that the ticket had to be caught Laaa the London Eye which is far away, and one day before we were beside her, if we knew that we had to pick up the ticket there, we would have done the day before (but it was not our fault read the email with the instructions).
As we had to make this trip to the London Eye (Buy your tickets early, because the queue is huge) again, we changed the script and first went for the Ferris wheel since we had to go there.
A London Eye it is very cool, you can see up there are many tourist attractions, the entire back takes about 15 minutes and this ticket we bought had the right to a 4D cineminha of a 10 minutes, beside the London Eye, kinda cool, but not too much.
Finally we returned to the Madame Tussauds, the wax museum is quite large, we were at least a 2 hours there, this museum has in many countries, but if you know a, You do not need to go in another, the largest are the London and New York.
After the museum we went back to the banks of Tamisa river, and we were walking from the London Eye to Tower Brigde, through the London Bridge, these two bridges are the most famous bridges in London.
We were sitting in a bar in front of Tower Bridge (the bridge is a museum / exhibition that is paid, Click here to buy tickets) to see it opening and closing and taking the opportunity to eat and have a beer in this beautiful postcard.
We stood there until dark and again to see the transformation of the site with the night lights.
We tried to go on The Shard (It is a giant and beautiful building), there is a hotel and a restaurant / bar with a beautiful view of the city, only we can not sit, because we were shoes and clothes to walk all day and the staff there was neat.
Leaving there we cross the Tower Bridge and came to London Tower, an ancient fortification on the other side of the river Thames near Tower Bridge.
From there it was to have gone on St. Paul's Cathedral (St. Paul’s Cathedral), only it was too late and we had to take the subway to go home and have to pay to get (but if you want to know click here to buy tickets to the visit)
3Th and final day, in the morning we were at the famous Camden Town market the Stable Market, there is a kind of Mercadão, with many, but many craft stores and many food stalls, a shame because it was early in the morning, and we were not very hungry, but it is a wonderful place for lunch, because the variety is huge.
That day left to eat in the neighborhood street markets Notting Hill, it was a shame that decision, as if we had eaten at Camden market it would have been much better. For the market Notting Hill was not even half of Camden Town. This neighborhood made famous by the film a place in Notting Hill, It's beautiful, Fancier, but not a must, expected more.
The last place we went before going to the airport was the Trafalgar Square, this square are The National Galllery a statue of Charles I and there is a beautiful view and different from Big Ben.
Post super full on London! This is a city that I loved every time I, but always I get like want more, because I end up soon. Among the programs that I could not do are the museums which are many and very interesting thing to see.
London is one of those cities that have to visit several times.
