On this day the tradition is to give a rose to his wife, girlfriend,mother or any woman you like and get them a book.
Because of these present the city is very florida, full of stalls of flowers and books, all leave the street to stroll, several buildings of the city are adorned with roses as the famous Casa Milla and Casa Batllo.
Many writers are in the stalls of books signing autographs, the queues are immense, this happens mainly on Passeig de Gràcia.
Roses that day are a little more expensive, and the books have all prices and types you can imagine.
It is a very romantic day. It is one of the most traditional festivals in Barcelona and Catalonia.
