February 18, 2020Things to do in Castejon de Sos? Castejón of Sos is the mountain chain forming the pirineos, and being in the state of Aragon, You know the region as pirineos Aragonese.
Castejon de Sos is a small town on the banks of the river Esera, the city has tourism all year round for visitors to make sports like: skiing, parapentes, rafting, hiking and biking in the mountains and many other sports.
We went to Castejon de Sos on a trip where we were skiing Cerler station who is there 30 minute drive from the city, where many staying there because of much cheaper prices than in the city itself or in Cerler Benasques.
We stayed at hotel Pyrenees, excellent hotel with the room nice and warm to endure rigorous winter in the area and with a great restaurant where we ate the menu of the day, We ate each input scallops with artichokes, a bean soup with lobster entree and a wonderful beef oxtail, here in Spain this dish is very famous and delicious, Furthermore the hotel has a bar for one beer after skiing, the price as we speak, It is quite cheap.
We stayed in town 2 night and went 3 cities, on the first day we met some medieval towns and castles and bridges, where we in this post, on the second day we went to Cerler skiing, It is one of the largest ski resorts in Spain and the second most famous of Aragón, the main one is the Panticosa and Formigal we had already known on another trip.
On the last day we went to lunch and get to know the city of Degrees, It is the largest in the region, which has a beautiful square and a most imposing basilica encrusted in rock of a mountain.
Castejon de Sos We liked it so much maybe we returned to the city and we will know the other sports adventures we can do for there.
