Punta Cana - Dominican Republic

Many Americans and Brazilians seek this place to be cheap, with beautiful beaches and great resorts.
Punta Cana, It has more nightlife than other cities of the Island. There has a club inside a cave, which we did not have time to go, but we saw amazing pictures of the site.

The best option is to arrive by plane, no Aeroporto Punta Cana International.
If you arrive at Santo Domingo airport, will have 1 hour drive to reach the city of Punta Cana, we went straight to Punta Cana.
The majority of flights to the island pass through the Panama City airport, if possible stop for a few hours (connection) for shopping in the free airport shopping, it is one of the world's largest.
Where to stay
There are several hotels and resorts in this town, (most are resorts). What we, It was very good indeed Dreams Punta Cana Resort & SPA, It has several restaurants open during the day and night, the system is all inclusive (lobster needs to be paid to part), the only problem is that the hotel is located a bit far from the beach Bavaro, busier place Punta Cane. But we not feel sorely missed, since we were on honeymoon, it was great. we 5 days there.
What to eat
Seafood, including lobster, the resorts has an excellent menu with typical dishes of local and international.
This hotel has the world's largest coffee we've ever seen, see the video all you have for breakfast.
Parties
The folk festivals roll in all the hotels and resorts, many of them have beach parties, like a lual.
Shopping
In all hotels there are days rolling a "fair" with many typical items to buy. The main shopping items are: cigars made in the factories of the Island (ex. Romeo and Juliet, Monte Cristo) and a stone found only in the region, called Larimar, “Lar” comes from Larissa, (name of Stone Pathfinder daughter) e “Mar” Sea same, simple lol, they put the stone in toodos kinds of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
Main attractions Punta Cana
Besides the beautiful beach and the clear water, you have several tour options are the best for Saona Island (the catamaran out of Bayahibe beach), to Catalina Island through the Altos Chavon (Rio name and a medieval city where there is also a golf club lindooo and a curiosity for those who love Michael Jackson, like me, he married in that place with Lisa Marie Presley) it's the Aquarium of dolphins in the very city of Punta Cana.
Saona Island was one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movie filming locations, the tours have food and drinks included with shrimp and sometimes lobsters (delicious).
Catalina Island beautiful beach and great place to snorkel, tours feature food and beverages included, with shrimp and lobster sooo delicious 🙂 .
